The National BETA Club's Mission Statement says it all! As a member of the Malden BETA Club, members learn to ROCK the qualities of great character. We enjoy the opportunity to make a difference in our community, become better leaders, build relationships that last, and shine in both the academics and arts at BETA Club conventions! It always ROCKS to be a BETA!
How Do you become a member?
Standards of membership in the Malden High School chapter of the National BETA Club must conform to the general features as laid down in the National Constitution, and in all cases must be approved by the executive head of the Malden High School because of their worthy character, good mentality, creditable achievements, and commendable attitudes. Provided these students meet the requirements as set forth in the By-Laws of this organization.
Prospective members must meet the following requirements:
-Candidates must be in grades 5-8
-Candidates for membership must have an overall B average in all subjects which count one credit each for the three consecutive quarters
-Candidates shall demonstrate characteristics consistent with the ideals and principles of the National Beta Club including good citizenship, positive attitude, and lack of disciplinary record.must exhibit good standing in the club’s activities and school
